Over 1.5 million nomadic Kuchis in Afghanistan face poverty and marginalisation. Alcis was tasked to find their migratory routes for an aid donor to provide support during their annual livestock mating season in October 2020.

We analysed the Alcis compound data for south west Afghanistan to compare 2014 and 2019 data and identify changes towards attaining the UN's Sustainable Development Goals SDG3, SDG9 and SDG10.
